Pretty Girl is coming along

I been working on this since last October as money and time allows. She set all winter til a month ago no wheels or swingarm. But now she is coming together. I go the pipes on last night and fired her up. Dayum that was nice I had forgot what she sounded like.

now my rear fender is rubbing when slammed so I gotta raise the fender some.

pipes not on here but I had her off the stand to check the air ride so a pic was in order.

I mounted my switches in the front of the instrument cluster. I really did not want them in the side covers as they are now full and overflowing, Left side has compressor and relays for air ride, right side has kury rtb and all the other BS electrical stuff.

Here is a pic of the switches dun in Stumpwerx style

now just front rotor, front fender to mount, rear fender to adjust, trim/shape both fenders , get it to paint. I swear this is a project and a half. More pics when I get something else done

They raise and lower the air ride and come pre wired so I just had to find a suitable location. They make a bracket to mount them on the clutch mounting bolts but I have a chrome cover and I wanted them close instead of down on the side cover. The other black button is a garage door remote button so since it was already drilled I just put them there. They are not very noticeable and I can reach them easily.

I got it all together late last night so I am gonna ride today. 90 sunny and no chance of rain. I will be around the lake so I will get a good pic or two. I gotta torque the front end and clean her up but I had a few barley pops last night so I waited to torque it all today. I hate doing impotent stuff when not fully prepared or shit might start fallin off.

The second reset is wired to a garage door opener. Previous owner did that but it is handy and I hide the opener in the frame so all is clean. Easy to do to

Kewl is right.I bought the shocks from him and then Stump got me the rest new from same supplier that kewl Metal uses so it is 1 hunert percent right and werxs right.

I have a few hunert miles on it so far and it has been great. I love it except I had to ride home after a big rain and it took 2 hours and most of a 12 pack to clean it up. Lots of sitting involved to.

am working on the front fender now. Here is what I have. I am going to chop the rear off and maybe a point involved, the front will be cut to a point and if I can make it look right I will scallop it like the rear. I wanted to cut the scallops off but if I do the fender will look to high and I kinda like them anyway.

I did get one pic while out riding. My old side mount woulda rubbed the chrome on the shocks so I did not have tags displayed on it. Officer pulled me over and after explaining he was ok. I knew my tag number so he ran it and all was good. I tried to get him to "cuff and stuff" my son but he politley declined. THat is why they are both smiling.

not the best pic showing the bike but I assure you this one is a keeper. One of my fav's so far anywho

on a side note I love being able to slide a 4x4 under and lower it down for cleaning or what ever. I did not think about it before hand but it has been a great advantage and it wont fall over this way. Unless it i forced and that would take some doing
