The base will be gloss black...I have no idea what will be airbrushed onto the bike....My painter asks for creative freedom and for what I pay, I won't argue...Here is a pic of the fender he threw together temporarily earlier this year....we knew we were painting the whole bike so this was a quick fix.....
Also, one of my co-workers is in the process of redoing his harley over the winter as well and the same painter is painting it....I'm curious to see who's turns out best....
I was going to and talked myself out of it...I figured all the hard work going into this I don't want some stupid body work to mess it up...Being black it's going to show alot of the imperfections so I had a pro do the body work...
Thanks for the Kudos....We'll meet up after it gets going again...

LATE
I'm on attempt #3 on the seat pan. I might take the attempt #1 seat pan and cut the back off of it and redo the back only. The front was good....
I'll let you know as soon as I know on the seat...

Got the bars mocked up this weekend....(i missed your call today stump, but i figured out the internal throttle after some deep googling....)had to do some "agressive" grinding on the inside of the grip and the outside of the bar for the throttle not to stick when twisting. Also, got the side cover situaton figured out....I just couldn't make the side covers i bought look like I wanted to, so I trimmed the sides of the stock ones so they don't hit the tank and i'll paint them black..(too much chrome.. ). I also did attempt number 5 on the seat pan...before I left tonight, i finished attempt 5.5...we'll see how it turns out in the next couple days when i go back out there...I cut the parts of attempt 5 I didn't like off and put some more fiberglass down.... More pics to come in the near future...this is finally coming together...
Bars go to powder in the morning... Also powdercoating the mounts for the levers on both sides and having chrome levers, lever screws, and the top of the brake reservoir.

Looks pretty damn good. Good lord how many seat pans do ya have now?! Let me know if I can do anything to help ya! I think riding season is here!!
Got the new bars installed this weekend and all the wire ran, internal throttle hooked up, starter button, horn, and hi/lo beam wiring moved below the tank. I'm going to use the pockets on both sides of the tank on the extension to put the relocated switches into so they're not visible, but they are still easily accessible...
I need some suggestions on who to send the seat pan to... I know there is a guy in Utah, I also heard there's a good guy in Houston....any suggestions would be appreciated...
