Welded in the support bar for the os swing arm. (NS if ur American). Its fully welded on the new part of the arm but not on the original part of the swing. I welded it off the bike eliminating the need for a jig here. Anyway, warpage wont affect the outcome here. So, latter, ill take the swingarm off completely and fully zip it all up. Ill show you how without the need for a jig. Jigs are better, im just to lazy to make one.

Heres where im up too. Bit of fiddling here and there and a weld here and there and the arm is ready for some brackets for the down under suspension. Going to be adding some gussets for strength too later.

I was just going to say to weld the nut to the swing arm piece and you won't have to use a socket to get it off then is all...

Thanks for your advice XN. I had not actually thort of that untill you mentioned it but i did give it a lot of thort while i was at work. Im figuring that ill be able to do the nut up alot tighter than i could with the allen wrench (we call em allen keys). Its no biggie tho ill just trim the tube for access and drill a hole for access to the brake caliper locating bolt. Very Happy

Used a piece of steel tube as a brace to hold the arm correctly while welding.
